An (un)common sense approach.

Uncommon Goods’ “Outta This World” connects a collection of fun and unusual gifts with illustrations set in motion. Working with Spang, we turned storyboards into a 15- and a 30-second spot.

We started with product photographs, stop motion and video.

Complete supplied Outta This World storyboard with product scenes and animation directions.

Keeping the style.

We made a supporting 3D rocket to rotoscope for easier animation.

The finished spots kept the handmade charm of the original boards while adding just enough 3D structure to make the motion feel effortless.
